What to Expect from a Fire Damage Restoration

1. Safety Assessment: This is completed alongside insurance companies and the fire marshal to determine the extent of the damage.
2. Board-Up and Roof-Tarp: Every access point to the home, such as windows and new holes must be covered to prevent more weather damage.
3. Water Removal: Fire damage can often cause water damage, so this must be dealt with before continuing.
4. Soot and Smoke Removal: All walls, surfaces, nooks, and crannies must have the smoke and soot removed with the proper technology.
5. Cleaning and Sanitizing: Surfaces and salvageable items of the property must be cleaned and sanitized.
6. Structural Repairs & Construction: Once the interior is complete, the team should embark on the real rebuild of the structure.
