Twin Falls and a Big Water Problem

The Before Photo actually shows a water loss already underway in this Twin Falls small office building. The pooling water from a busted pipe has been vacuumed up after sitting on the carpet over the weekend. This is a commercial grade, glue-down tiled flooring, and the adhesion was lost. Our SERVPRO team always tries to restore and not replace water damaged building elements and fixtures, but reality dictates the correct procedures. The After Photo depicts our drying equipment completing the mission of restoring a standard RH relative humidity level of about 55 percent. With a concrete pad, this takes several days to draw out and remove the dampness slowly. We salvaged the walls by removing the coving and drilling weep holes to drain and circulate warm air within the wall cavities.
