Water Damage in Apartment Complex Twin Falls, ID

This water damage was the result of an upstairs tenant leaving the shower on in their apartment.  The shower pan overflowed and the water found its way into the unit below as well as the parking garage in the basement.  Once we got the call, our crew at SERVPRO of Twin Falls and Jerome Counties mitigated the damage.  The ceiling in this particular job was tricky because there were two layers of drywall to dampen sound between the apartments.  This meant we had to take out the ceiling in order to dry the affected material.  in most cases we try to dry in place prevented the least amount of damage as possible but, in certain situations there is demolition that needs to take place.  On this particular job, we had to remove the ceiling, the flooring in the bathroom and the vanity in the bathroom.  Once we dried the structure, the reconstruction crew took it over and it truly was "Like it never even happened."
